Any-Body Argentina launches nation-wide sticker campaign
Any-Body, the organisation founded in 2003 by psychoanalyst Susie Orbach in order to improve cultural attitudes towards body image and dieting, has recently launched a nation-wide sticker campaign in Argentina.
The scheme rewards clothing stores whose sizing policies conform with the country’s ‘Size Laws’ by stocking a range of standardised sizes between 38 and 48 (UK sizes 10 to 20). The Size Laws were set up in Buenos Aires in 2005, but many shops have continued to ignore them. Any-Body’s new sticker campaign is a positive step towards addressing this problem – it enables women to easily identify the shops that conform to the laws and make smart shopping choices. Stores Portsaid and VER will be the first shops to be rewarded for offering an extensive range of sizes.
