Susie Orbach’s Endangered Species Summit is taking place around the world in March, and being held at London’s Southbank centre on 4th March 2011. Through a series of events and speakers during the day, the Summit will celebrate body diversity and challenge the culture that teaches women and girls to hate their bodies.

Endangered Species is supported by the Minister for Equalities Lynne Featherstone, All Walks’ Caryn Franklin, actor and writer Emma Thompson and DIVA magazine. The Summit aims to engage people from the worlds of politics, corporate life, fashion and media and ask them how they can contribute to changing those aspects of the commercialization of beauty which are causing such harm to girls and women around the world today.

For its launch, Endangered Species and DIVA magazine invited advertising and creative agencies from around the UK to submit ideas for a billboard campaign to communication Endangered Species’ message. The winning entry (above) from Manchester’s Red C Agency was unveiled yesterday and can be seen at 11 sites across the capital running up to the Summit in London on 4th March.

When I read about your campaign in an article in the Guardian by Suzanne Moore I googled it to see more. Imagine my shock when this ad was placed on your site!

Talk about an uphill battle for your great campaign! Good luck with it (and getting rid of those kinds of ads!)
